EATS: {Recipe} Toast Skagen!

Today is Sweden's National Day, so I decided to make something really Swedish: Toast Skagen!


- Ingredients - (Serves 4)

-500 grams, peeled prawns, cooked
-1/2 red onion
-3 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 lemon, zest and juice
- 5 tablespoons of sour cream
- Soft white bread
- Butter
- Dill
- Salt (for tasting)

- Procedure -

1. As the prawns we bought were frozen, we quickly dipped them into boiling water first.

2. Chop the onion finely and mix them into a bowl together with the prawns.

3. Add the chopped onion, lemon juice and zest, sour cream and olive oil into a bowl. Mix until the prawns are coated!

4. Put a large frying pan onto high heat before putting cubes of butter on the pan.

5. Put one slice of white bread on the butter covered pan to toast it. Flip the bread so both sides get covered with butter.

6. Apply some of the prawn mixture on the bread and lightly add some dill or salt to taste!
