EATS: {Recipe} How To Make Cheese Crackers!

This is a recipe for bite-sized Cheese Crackers!

Before you continue reading this recipe, remember to like my Facebook page for blog updates -- click here.

Ingredients

  • A cup of flour. (About 120 grams)
  • 4 cups of your preferred, grated cheese. (About 400 grams, 100 grams per cup)
  • 5 tablespoons of butter.
  • About three to four tablespoons of ice water.
  • Salt.
  • Cling / plastic / transparent wrap.

Procedure

1:  Combine both the cheese and the flour into a bowl.

2:  Put in your melted butter. TIP: Use a microwave to easily melt your butter

3:  Mix everything until everything is incorporated.

4:  Add the ice-water into the combination.

5:  Use your hands to mix the combination until you have a dough-like consistency.

6:  Once the mixture has been formed to a firm dough ball, wrap it up with the cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

7:  Preheat your oven into 180 degrees Celsius.

8:  Use a rolling-pin to flatten your refrigerated dough-ball. Roll it up to your desired thickness. We rolled them up until about a quarter to a half an inch thick.

9:  Use a knife or a pizza cutter (for easier cutting) and cut your dough into accurate squares.

10:  Put it in a pan and bake for about fifteen to twenty minutes.
