EATS: {Recipe} How To Make Pizza Bread!

The {Recipes} are back! Euan, Patricia and Shriya are here to teach you some easy eats that you can do by yourself at home!

Before reading this one, you might want to try making three of the previous recipes:

***
The following is a recipe for pizza bread, a variant of the personal pizza I made in a previous {Recipe} post. We're going to make a quick, easy and effortless snack using common and simple ingredients.

Speaking of ingredients, here they are:

- Slices of bread.
- Butter.
- Tomato Sauce.
- Grated Cheese. (Preferably mozzarella, but we used a Swedish cheese called HerrgĂ„rd - Manorhouse cheese in English)
- Ham Slices.

Procedure:

1. Toast the bread until both sides are brownish. I just used a regular toaster for this step, but feel free to use anything you want. Do not heat the bread using a microwave. Hopefully, you know that microwaving bread makes it soggy and gross.

2. While the bread is still warm, apply butter. Don't put too much, you don't want your pizza bread tasting like your regular Sunday morning toast. Make sure that the butter will melt before you continue. (If you accidentally put too much butter or if the bread wasn't hot enough, put butter before microwaving the bread for a few seconds)

3. Put a generous amount of tomato sauce over the buttered slices of toasted bread. Next, place the grated cheese on top of the tomato sauce covered bread. Put as much as you want on the bread.

4. Preheat your oven at 120 degrees Celsius (~250 degrees Fahrenheit).

5. Top your bread with as much ham as you can. If you want, top it with more of your favorite pizza toppings. Pepperoni, bacon, pineapples, mushrooms, peppers... the sky is the limit! Just not anchovies though... they taste ughh...

6. Put them in the oven! Wait for about 7 to 9 minutes before taking them out.

7. It is very tempting to just get one now and munch, but wait! The ham and the melted cheese are very hot. I recommend waiting for about a minute before sinking your teeth into this simple delight!

Final (Delicious) Outcome:

That's it! This simple, simple dish can be made even by an eight year old, but can bring smiles and full stomachs to everyone! Comment down below what you want me or the contributors to make next!

EATS: Pizza Hut @ Klarabergsgatan, Stockholm

It was my mom's friend's birthday a couple of days ago, and my mom decided to "treat" her by going to Pizza Hut. Since everything is an opportunity, I decided to blog about it.

The things we ordered were Chicken Wings (for my mom's friend's son), a "Super Supreme" and a "Meatlovers" medium sized pizza.

The Meatlovers pizza was very good, but the crust was a bit soggy. It was filled with meat and the cheese was melted perfectly, that when we cut a slice, the cheese was still sticking from one pizza slice to the whole pizza. This pizza consisted of ham and mini-meatballs. There wasn't enough cheese for me, though.

The Super Supreme has got to be one of my favorites. It's a combination of ham, cheese, bell peppers, onions and lots of other superb stuff. It tasted good because there was lots of stuff on it. A bit more cheese would do, though.

But who am I to judge a fast food place? Let me tell you, the restaurant's inside looks awesome, of that of a five-star one.

EATS: {Recipe} How To Make Cheese Crackers!

This is a recipe for bite-sized Cheese Crackers!

Before you continue reading this recipe, remember to like my Facebook page for blog updates -- click here.

Ingredients

  • A cup of flour. (About 120 grams)
  • 4 cups of your preferred, grated cheese. (About 400 grams, 100 grams per cup)
  • 5 tablespoons of butter.
  • About three to four tablespoons of ice water.
  • Salt.
  • Cling / plastic / transparent wrap.

Procedure

1:  Combine both the cheese and the flour into a bowl.

2:  Put in your melted butter. TIP: Use a microwave to easily melt your butter

3:  Mix everything until everything is incorporated.

4:  Add the ice-water into the combination.

5:  Use your hands to mix the combination until you have a dough-like consistency.

6:  Once the mixture has been formed to a firm dough ball, wrap it up with the cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

7:  Preheat your oven into 180 degrees Celsius.

8:  Use a rolling-pin to flatten your refrigerated dough-ball. Roll it up to your desired thickness. We rolled them up until about a quarter to a half an inch thick.

9:  Use a knife or a pizza cutter (for easier cutting) and cut your dough into accurate squares.

10:  Put it in a pan and bake for about fifteen to twenty minutes.

EATS: {Recipe} How To Make Pizza!

A couple of days ago, we made our own pizza! Here's how we did it and how to make your own personal pizza!

This recipe will be a Ground Pork pizza.

Before you continue to read this recipeCLICK HERE TO GO TO MY FACEBOOK PAGE for EXCLUSIVE BLOG UPDATES

Ingredients

  • Thick tortillas (To serve as pizza crust
  • Pizza sauce
  • Grated Cheese
  • Ground Pork
  • Any other toppings you want.
NOTE: Go crazy on your grated cheese, ground pork and pizza sauce. You can absolutely customize your pizza and add as much or as little of these ingredients as you want.

Procedure

1: Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Celcius.

2: Get your flour tortillas. I would prefer them to be as thick as possible.

3: Put as much / as little pizza sauce over the flour tortilla.

4: Put some cheese over the pizza-sauce topped flour tortilla. Again, put as much or as little cheese you want.

5: Fry your ground pork. While frying (use a saucepan if available), break the pork up into pieces. Once the pork is cooked and the pieces are very small, put it over the cheese and the pizza sauce.

6: Once you put your ground pork, put any other topping you want. I put in ham in mine.

7: Put it in your oven. Let it cook for about five to eight minutes.

Enjoy!

EATS: Pizzeria La Grande

So my mom and my stepdad always have fancy dinners with people in fancy restaurants. If this happens, either my mom cooks ahead of time or I buy pizza in this pizzeria about fifty steps away from our own house.

So today was one of those days where we ate pizza. We always go to our usual place, Pizzeria La Grande. We've bought pizza here for two times prior to this.

So when you walk in to the pizzeria itself, you won't be handed a menu. There's a large tarpaulin sign on the inside with the whole menu on it.

So I ordered a Millefiori pizza which had toppings of cheese, tomato sauce, mushrooms, ham and shrimp, good for two people (SEK 100, if you want it to be good for one person, SEK 75) to take away. I waited at the restaurant for about fifteen minutes before getting the actual pizza.

I then walked back home so that my sister and I could share the pizza as dinner. The crust was very crunchy, while the dough itself was not good if you microwave the pizza. Best if you eat it freshly baked from the pizzeria. The toppings were great, and that I really appreciated it as there was a generous amount of cheese on the pizza. Overall rating? 7.5/10. I would recommend you to eat here. I will certainly come back.

By the way, the pizza's so big that it couldn't fit the box! The pizza maker had to fold some of the sides just to fit it!
